Northern Counties Safety Group was originally established in 1972 to provide Safety advice and Training to Members of the Northern Counties Builders Federation. Since then, the Group has developed in its own right into a thriving organisation that now has over 40 Member Companies.

We provide a comprehensive Health and Safety Advisory service to Group Members that includes the following:

•          24 hour telephone support.
•          Regular updates on legislation and industry best practice.
•          Production and review of Health and Safety Policies.
•          Routine site monitoring and inspections including a written report for each visit.
•          Help and advice on producing risk assessments and method statements.

TRAINING

Northern Counties Safety Group has a longstanding reputation for providing high quality Safety training. We are accredited training providers for CITB Construction Skills and PASMA. Our Training Centre in Durham has a purpose built classroom and indoor scaffold inspection facility.
