SCAFFOLD DESIGN
Scaffold designs for tube and fitting and system scaffolds. All designs are produced on AutoCAD with full back-up calculations. Our Design Engineer is fully qualified and has over 20 years experience in the scaffolding industry.
ASBESTOS SURVEYING AND SAMPLING
All types of asbestos surveys (mangement and pre-refurbishment/demolition) carried out by UKAS accredited surveyors and laboratories. One-off sampling and testing service also available for emergencies.
NOISE ASSESSMENTS
Noise surveys to comply with the Noise at Work Regulations 2005, carried out on site or at your premises by qualified Health and Safety Professionals.
VIBRATION ASSESSMENTS
Vibration assessments to enable you to monitor and control risks of exposure to hand-arm vibration and comply with the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005. All our Advisors are fully trained and competent.
FACE FIT TESTING
Qualitative face fit testing for tight fitting respiratory protective equipment. Tests for disposable masks and half-face cartridge masks. These tests are carried out by our own Safety Advisors, who are fully qualified and trained. This service is available at our training centre or at your own premises. Quantitative tests for full-face RPE can also be arranged.
PORTABLE APPLIANCE TESTING
All 110v electrical construction equipment should be "tested before first use on site and then every 3 months" to comply with current HSE guidance. Northern Counties Safety Group can carry out PAT testing on site by qualified professionals. Individual certificates, I.D. tags and an Excel spreadsheet of the test results are included in the rate.
DISPLAY SCREEN EQUIPMENT (DSE) ASSESSMENTS
To comply with employers duties under the The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992, assessments should be carried out on the suitability of workstations of those who use display screen equipment. Our Safety Advisors are able to provide this service at your workplace. A written report will be produced, summarising the results.
